Alaska

In 1986 we took our last major family road trip which included Yellowstone, Glacier, Banff, Jasper, National Parks. The goal of the trip was to board the inland waterway ferry at Prince Rupert and travel to Alaska. It was a wonderful trip. We did not get to mainland Alaska. Chris and I put it on our "bucket list".  Now in the 50th year of our marriage we are making that trip. In just a few days we will fly to Fairbanks, Alaska, take a train to Denali National Park to join a Road Scholar event that will focus on Denali and the Keani Peninsula. We will experience bears, mountains, whales, glaciers and much more. Our trip will conclude in Anchorage.     We invite you to follow along. God willing, and internet working we will post a few comments and pictures.   Chris and Larry
